I'm making more wearable Costumes!!
I just wanted people to know that! They actually give you abilities too! I already made a Seventies Batman Costume! You can check it out if you want, if you do, thanks! :)
I also opened a "More Costumes!" Collection, I'll be adding more Costumes VERY soon!
I think you guys should try to make a Costume too!

Don't want to hijack a topic (but for some reason I still can't make my own - is there a post-count requirement?) but my Q is related to costumes (for ghostrider or anyone)

I tried modifying a Superman costume in the hero editor, everything looked fine. But when I put it on maxwell it was just a normal superman costume (by looks, and with only the normal powers (no the ones I added). What settings do you have to mess with to get it to work out right?

After looking at ghostrider's costumes & their descriptions, I take it you can't change the powers? (Also, someone on another forum told me they didn't think this was possible...bummer, because I don't want to physically alter my avatar because then other costumes wouldn't fit right)

Is there anything aside from color** that you CAN change? (like, just to boost up stats or w/e). Although not that I've gotten color changing to stick yet :/

Sorry for the late reply, but anyway, go to the Hero Creator and start it up, once it comes on create a new object, start with the Superman Costume. When it comes on, edit it how you like, then, there should be a button around the top right of the screen (That looks like a bag or something), press it. It will switch to a screen where you can edit the look of the costume when you wear it, and just customize it how you like! And that's it for that, but as for the powers, no, you can't change them, that would be pretty cool though.

Oh, no worries -- thanks! I had never noticed that icon there before.

Right! You can mix & match parts/colors of the large database, but it lacks true deep-customization (IMO).

I'm pretty sure I know the answer is no, but it's not possible to have a weapon give you (/the user) powers when it's equipped, right? (Aside from adding an adjective like fire-breathing or flying- actual powers from the power list).

And while I'm at it :D, there's not a way to add a laser projectile to a normal gun, right? Because "laser" makes it fire the ray-gun object, and "beam" fires metal beams.

i feel true deep customization is there, you can use any object at your will with enter button, all shapes, recoloring them, to any other object, placing it on, recoloring parts/making it a diff material, etc.

as for powers, you can only change your powers via avatar screen, but you can make an avatar of you looking how you want, and add powers that way.

Maybe "items give you powers" thing is expecting too much (though I personally don't think so), but not being able to make a normal gun shoot lasers is pretty bad IMO.

Yea, but then other costumes won't fit - they stay "maxwell shape". (I'm also finding that when you edit a costume, you can really only change colors (ie: can't change out arms that have a different pattern you want)

Just put different arms over the other arms! That works for me!

Oh yea? I had just assumed it was finicky, lol (that because I couldn't remove any, it wouldn't work right once summoned).
