Crashing to Desktop on "Generating Dungeon"
Every time I try to make a new game it says "Generating Dungeon" for about half a second before it crashes to the desktop. No error message either. I've tried running it through administrator mode, with a launcher, un and reinstalling, verifying the game files, running in windowed mode, compatibility mode for Windows 7 and 8 (I'm on 10), checking my Java version, everything I can think of and it crashes every time.

You use Windows?

I've tried the .jar, yeah.
So, I can have the solution:
1- Open Control Painel
2- Click in View by:
3- Select Big Icons
4- Found and click on Java
5- Now on the Java Control Painel, Click on Java
6- Click on Display
7- Now put in all of this java versions you ram code: -Xincgc -Xmx1024M for 1 gb ram allocated.

No luck there. It may just be some bug on my end. Thanks for the help, anyway!

That was something I had tried when I updated Java.
You tried open another java game?
Two reasons

  • There is no save folder inside <path-to-game>

  • You don't have the proper permission to write and/or read to the folder.
''Error reading file: save/game_0.dat''
Yeah

There is a save folder, and all of the permissions look fine, but "Read Only" is checked and whenever I unchecked it it just re-checks is a second later. Maybe that's it?
Obviously there's some permission issues going on. You've tried deleting and then re-creating the folder, right..?
