Game freezes/crashes! Problem!

When i play multiplayer, after 10 minutes the game crashes and i have to restart my PC. I have an AMD CPU and Graphic Card. This problem only occurs in public servers.
Can anyone help?!

can try documents->BFBC2->settings.ini
change the auto to 9 at DxVersion

it fixes most of the known freezes, black/white screen and lag issues

I actually did the thing where you delete the 3 files and allow them to rewrite and then edit the code to force it to DX9 and it has seemed to fix it i guess? I just played for about 40 minutes.

It's just so weird cos it's happened to so many people with no support from EA and it's arguably their biggest title -_-

The game is 6 years old mate, Your lucky to find dev's that stick around for 1 year let alone 6.

Yes dont look for devs... The game is awesome right now but its old And left behind.

Hey guys!

Ok so i did some more digging and found a thread that mentions that Catalyst is causing the problem - i followed the complete delete instructions then reinstalled and updated to an old version of the drivers without Catalyst and have been playing uninterrupted since :D

3 days and counting now!
