Faction repair

I can't seem to repair my faction with the Abyssals. They are at "ignoring" right now and nothing I do seems to increase it. Any thoughts?

Remove any Elementals from your apartment, make a very cheap apartment with the symbol that attacts Abyssals and an Altar. Then just wait and be patient and wait for a Fishy One to show up and let them have that apartment. Make sure the only things in the apartment are the bare necessities, so the altar is the only thing they can interact with when at home.

Yeah, I gave up and just finished the game. Couldn't get the any abyssals to come. Had altars in a bunch of rooms set to 0 rent forever. None came. :'( Anyway, it's over and done with. Time for the next game.
