Getting monsters to leave without kicking them out?
Is there a way of doing this? I want my monsters son to breed to continue getting up the fighting stats, but don't want to kick them out? :draculala:

You can kick individual monsters out of an apartment. That's the only way to really get one of them to leave, aside from maybe letting them die in combat.
Yes, but the point is I don't want to kick them out; or kill them off. My question was if there was another way?
You're better off just kicking them out and attracting new tenants.
If you were ro raise the rent so that they could not pay it they would leave too.

Why do you not want to kick them out? It's not like there's any negative to doing so.
To get 'The Kindly Landlord' unlocked as an achievement. The pictures for these unlocks are so cute, I can't help but want to unlock them... ;-;
you can get them kill in battle , the one you want to get rid off, let the children retreat, and let the parent , Or entire family kill if you want to have a empty room

Just boost up their rent until they say "About the rent..." then they will have a chance to flee under the cover of darkness at night time. You can either save at night and reload everytime they don't flee or just wait a few nights until they skip out on the rent.:cheepy:

Fleeing under cover of darkness has everyone in the apartment leave though, including the offspring. The fastest way to get rid of just the parents without evicting them is to have them die in battle. The other way is to have the offspring move in with another monster, and then have the parents flee, but it's a VERY low chance of it happening, i.e. does not work as a breeding strategy as it would take way too long.

Oh for breeding! I don't know how I missed that part. If you're going for the no evictions achievement, you won't be able to breed unless you get lucky and the child moves in with another tenant. For the no evictions achievement you don't need to breed anyways. :P I got it just fine without, got no deaths in the same playthrough to boot.

Or just kill the parents off as others have stated. ^^

By what you said earlier, you wanted to breed with a child without kicking out the mom or dad with out letting them die. whe nthey say "about the rent" the will leave, but EVERYONE will leave including the child.
You can put allow a tenant of the species, race, whatever they are, move into another room and they leave once they reach "pissed".
This is one of my least favorite aspects of the game. Honestly, I prefer to pretend in those situations that the parents are moving out voluntarily to retire together somewhere and that they're crying because their kid became independent. I think it's weird that the kids attract lovers to share the king size bed they were conceived in, but...whatever. They seem ecstatic about it, so to each their own.

I also thought their stats would grow indefinitely to some kind of species cap, meaning that I'd get the strongest possible residents by being a great landlord and keeping everybody's needs met, while also providing them with awesome fitness equipment, from home bench presses to treadmills to awesome desks, libraries and computers.

The breeding component is fun, once you get the hang of it, but I might never have figured it out on my own - it's the one game dynamic that was "spoiled" for me by fellow players, although I was glad to understand things better once it was. It would be nice if the game's tutorial features explained long-term stat growth through breeding a little better.

But for RP purposes, yeah....I simply choose to interpret some things in a way that is more consistent with my style of landlording. (Awesome landlording up until the day their kids surpass them, then they're out on their butts. Everybody loves me except abyssals and demons, who hate me and to whom I don't rent. At all.)
