i want to ge the my name is inigo montoya achivement but what do i do?

I am not 100% sure, but from what I hear (just rumors). You need to get one of the kids killed and the father or mother will want to get revenge (the monster will turn dark like color from what I saw in some screenshots). What I am not really sure is if it works with any monster or just the abyssal.

I still don't get the achivement, but I might give it a try later on.

What is weird is that Inigo Montoya's line was "My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die." The description of the achievement is a parent vowing revenge, but it should be the child who wants revenge for the achievement title to make sense.

I Have tried many variations for this achievement to no avail. I wonder if the child actually has to be little, how to get it to die? I'll try again with the abyssals to see if that works.

the child has to be returning back home and get caught in the crossfire

i got it on accident against one of those mage things with piercing bolts and it happened again through splash damage

also i don't get why that guy always uses emoticons in every post he makes lol

Ha, in the 20 hours I have in the game... That never even happened once. My monsters are so strong adventurers never come past the first level. Darnit!
Does it matter if it is a specific type of monster?
I also don't know why al the emoticons, guess you have to use them somewehre :p

A child has to die. Doesn't matter what type of monsters. The parents turn black and will go to attack the adventurers.

I got it by accident, having kicked out a parent and child (for being over a grand in debt) right before a random guild attacked. I suppose you could time an eviction to when you know a quest battle will start (or if you know what time 'Some Guild' will appear), or align when the children come home/go to school with a battle starting.

I got it by accident too, but I redid that save even though it won me that and the next battle.

I couldn't let my level four chimerae go through this, both the mother and father turned black and became "the spirits of vengeance". They lost their old jobs and got a PLUS 200 to attack. At the next battle after they left their rooms they fought and could not be called back until they killed at-least one adventurer, but that meant they would fight until they died. The mourning mother did lose her life, and when the former oil tycoon returned to his room alone he was unemployed.

I just got abyssals the alter that comes with a baby. They had that ugly slime abyssal thing baby, so ofc I didn't have the right air conditioner for him. He got sick and died. & the achievement popped.

I got it too by accident, there is the screenshot with the berserk parent (+144 damage bonus after her child was killed)

This was a total oops on my part as well. If the child is coming home and aggros the enemy, all of the monsters become the Spirit of Vengence. Did NOT expect something like that to happen, but after that dirty pirate nuked the baby I'd worked so hard to breed (seven generations), I am glad to see some sort of achievement out of it.
