Error when trying to launch
Is anyone else having this error?

"Lego Marvel has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Running Windows 7 and have been playing Battlefield 4, so I don't know why I am having this issue.

Has it happened more then once? At what point were you in the game and what were you doing when it happened?
The game has done that at least once randomly to me.
It happens every time. I have yet to actually get the game to even start. By the way, I am in the US so the game should be available.

Have you tried to Verify te Integrity of the game files?
Right click on the game name, click "Properties". Then choose "Local Files". Then the bottom option: "Verify Intergrity of Game Cache". Then wait. It was test the game stuff and if there is a problem it will re-download the appropriate files. Then trying the game again.
If this doesnt work, I think there is a second way to verify the game files, or you'd have to attempt to contact steam support.
Appears I need to contact steam support as the other options did not work. Thank you for your advice

Try changing the main language in Windows to English. That fixed it for me.

I have the same problem... Bought my son this game for his birthday and now it's not working!!! We played for several days now, and yesterday morning everything was still fine... In the evening it started crashing and giving out that very same error message! I've been now for hours looking through the internet for solutions and tried EVERYTHING!! Somebody please fix it, as it seems to be especially windows 7 related, if anyone has any more ideas, let all of us know!!!

Find your LEGO Marvel Superheroes folder - should be located here - \AppData\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes\

Easy way to get there is to type %Appdata% in the windows search bar.

Now when you get to that folder, delete (or move) all the files inside it (make sure the game is not running) then launch it and tell me what happens.

Doing this should reset it with default settings, creating new ones when you launch the game. If it doesn't run still then we'll try step 2.

Little question: Erm... What do I do with the moved files?? can I just delete them? O_o?

No problem, glad it worked for you (sometimes it doesn't). You can just delete those files, they will not be needed anymore.
