I played the free version of Vector on my Android tablet and found the controls frustrating; too often I'd miss the jumps due to the game not responding to touch. I'm very glad I bought it for PC!
Vector is a great side-scrolling parkour game. The controls are very simple, run, speed up, slow down, jump, slide, and fall. In some situations you can do a wall climb, and that's about it.
Each level has three special parkour moves that you can do once each in a set location in the level, assuming you have enough coins to unlock the move before attempting the level. These moves are activated by pushing up in the same way as a regular jump, but some of them are pretty impressive, and they add extra flair to the game.
The intro is cool and sets the mood for the game well, and the story gradually progresses as you play through. I'm not finished yet, but each time I've encountered a little plot hook so far it's made me smile. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.
The graphics in Vector are very simple, but the animation is fantastic and works amazingly well. It reminds me of the original Prince of Persia animation: very fluid and flowing; perfect for this game.
Replayability of levels you've already beaten comes in the form of retrying the levels to get more coins, which are then used to unlock moves in later levels. Getting a perfect score in some levels will take many, many replays.
I definitely recommend Vector. I don't know if I'll ever finish it 100%, with all levels perfect, but for now I'm enjoying the attempt.
