My game crashes after the intro movie. This happens both in full-screen and in windowed mode. It happens every single time, and it happens across two different machines. Every time it crashes, I get this error message:
Memory exception (11) attempting to access: 00000000 [ip=60A21BB5]
I have not been able to play the game since I bought it. This particular machine I'm posting from is a Windows 7 Pro x64, using a Pentnium Quad CPU and a GeForce 9800GT video card. My home machine which also crashes is running Windows 7 Pro x64 with a Pentium I7 CPU and a GeForce GTX580 GPU. Since that died and is out for repairs, I also tried it in an old GTX285 GPU. So far, the game has crashed under all circumstances.
As a matter of fact, we haven't planned to release any updates till Hunter Mode, but who knows;) You'll see more info in the News & Updates thread as soon as we release some new content.
In either case, looking forward to a fix.
I got the same problem:
2500K, GfGTX560Ti, Win7.
Any help?

Perhaps, I apply for return my money. All other games are runing normal only this game still crashed.
Enjoy it very much.
Can I get my 2.99 euro back? Yepp...NO...
See, this is what happens when you don't listen to me. I told you it's not the intro that's crashing my game and that skipping it won't fix anything. The game itself doesn't run, the intro has nothing to do with it.
And I am now crashing across three different machines with wildly different configurations. About the only unifying factor is I have all three set to "Bulgaria" as a location, date and time format and preferred language. See if it's not a unicode vs. ascii thing or some special character that gets replaced.
Malidictus, could you please save reports provided with dxdiag and msinfo (msinfo32) from all your three machines and send them to v.skobelev@corp.nekki.ru? It will be very usefull for us to replicate your issue accurately.
For the sake of completeness and in the hopes that other people will mail results to you as well, do you think you can provide instructions on dxdiag and msinfo? Specifically, how to run them and collect log files. I'll get on that tomorrow at some point.
DxDiag
- Open Start menu
- type dxdiag in search bar
- wait a second to let Windows find dxdiag.exe
- press Enter
- click Yes if you see a prompt window
- wait for dxdiag to collect info about your system
- press "Save All Information..." at the bottom
- choose directory where you want to save your results as .TXT file
MsInfo
- Open Start menu
- type msinfo32 in search bar
- wait a second to let Windows find msinfo32.exe
- press Enter
- wait for msinfo32 to collect info about your system
- press "File"
- then "Save"
- choose directory where you want to save your results as .NFO file
In the end you will have two files. One from dxdiag and one from msinfo32. Send them to v.skobelev@corp.nekki.ru. The most useful info will be provided with msinfo, because it shows the most important things about your software environment.
