That is because this is a game made for a phone/tablet also.

I totally agree. If you want a cross platform game you need to provide the customer with the correct controls.

The game looks good, but these controls are ridiculous... If they decide to fix it, I'll definately play :(

What do you have to do, click the buttons? Hit a key for each attack? Can't you bind a mouse button to that?

I saw some gameplay on YouTube with huge buttons for toddler fingers, like you see in Pocket Legends or Order & Chaos and crap like that. Looking at the screenshots on the store page here, it seems they redid the interface at least. So what exactly is the problem with the controls?

I think I'm going to pass this time. Thank you for the detailed explanation. It sounds like I'll find this game pretty aggravating even though I'm used to holding the shift key down (for ranged) as well as force-moving with middle click.

As I was reading, I started thinking I might recommend you check out Van Helsing, when you up and mentioned it. At this point it really is a damned nice game. I'm glad I missed out on whatever it started as.

Kirkkaf pretty much hit the nail on the head there... I already wasted the money for the game, so I might as well wait and hope it gets fixed. All they need to do it change it to be like any other ARPG like Diablo or Van Helsing...

You could try AutoHotKey and add lines like:

lbutton::rbutton
rbutton::tab

The controls alone made me quit this game in like 10 minutes of playing. I was clicking dudes to attack and it was firing shots in the complete wrong direction. I can't tell you the number of times my magic missile went opposite the direction I clicked. Poor form developers... poor form.
