That is because this is a game made for a phone/tablet also.

Yes - this is the PC version and should be ported with the controls in mind.

I totally agree. If you want a cross platform game you need to provide the customer with the correct controls.

The game looks good, but these controls are ridiculous... If they decide to fix it, I'll definately play :(

What do you have to do, click the buttons? Hit a key for each attack? Can't you bind a mouse button to that?

I saw some gameplay on YouTube with huge buttons for toddler fingers, like you see in Pocket Legends or Order & Chaos and crap like that. Looking at the screenshots on the store page here, it seems they redid the interface at least. So what exactly is the problem with the controls?

The issue for me is when auto attacking. You can bind the keys but left click is to move your character which cannot be changed, this is not a problem as most action RPG's use left click to move but to auto attack you simply cannot just left click to move to that target to attack it. You have to move in range with left click then use your auto attack button (right click for me) to attack.

If I hit right click on the target from the other side of the map I will still swing my weapon missing everything so if you do not move close enough you will be attacking the air. This makes it loose the fluid gameplay you think an ARPG would have.

They could easily fix this is they allowed us to bind left click to auto attack as well as movement and made the character attack only when in range of the enemy. Other ARPG to attack at a stand point you need to hold shift.

The game has other issues, although I have enjoyed the parts I have played, (level 40 at act 2). The story can be worked on, I am not a writer but the dialog in the game has some poor English sentences and grammer.

The shop interface is poorly made, and when you pick items that need identifying, they are simple called "unidentified".

As long as the developers keep working on this title I think it will be worth the current price but as it stands there are more polished games out there. (There is hope as Van Helsing was once in the same situation, I believe that has improved tenfold)

EDITED: I have noticed the game is on sale, I would definately pick it up for that price as it has potential.

I think I'm going to pass this time. Thank you for the detailed explanation. It sounds like I'll find this game pretty aggravating even though I'm used to holding the shift key down (for ranged) as well as force-moving with middle click.

As I was reading, I started thinking I might recommend you check out Van Helsing, when you up and mentioned it. At this point it really is a damned nice game. I'm glad I missed out on whatever it started as.

Kirkkaf pretty much hit the nail on the head there... I already wasted the money for the game, so I might as well wait and hope it gets fixed. All they need to do it change it to be like any other ARPG like Diablo or Van Helsing...

oh and I have Van helsing and think it's awesome ;)

You could try AutoHotKey and add lines like:

lbutton::rbutton
rbutton::tab

Anything new about the controls????
Conchobhar Feb 3 @ 7:35am
Nope but Im still playing it

The controls alone made me quit this game in like 10 minutes of playing. I was clicking dudes to attack and it was firing shots in the complete wrong direction. I can't tell you the number of times my magic missile went opposite the direction I clicked. Poor form developers... poor form.
