Four-Man teams should be standard
I have an entire house to clear with 6-8 bad dudes and I only get 2 guys?

i agree with this even though i do not have the game. The smallest team needed to clear a room is a 4 man team. From a tactical point of view every room has 4 corners.

OMG army flash back! Ok its gone.

I am currently hovering over the buy button.

*Edit unless the first man calls "short room", because it turned out to be a closet or a bathroom.

Its a good game, and you won't regret it despite some weird bugs where your guys will freeze up and not engage bad guys.

No matter what, your experience with battle drill 6 will give you good perspective

I agree. Often I did not have one person for a full perimeter control.
For example, take the corridor. The first looks back, the other looking forward. A third man for checking rooms on the go in the hallway I have not. = (

You do get more than 2 after a few missions, yes. Great game but right now I have like 15 confirmed baddies to rid in a house with crazy angles with only 2 guys. No sane swat would ever attempt that.

I think that's just to make it challenging honestly.

I suppose this game is rooted in tactical movement and realism, but in the end it's more of a 2d puzzle game.

The game is in fact pretty arcardy. Which is not a bad thing in my opinion.

As more features and tactical options are added you will see the game shift a little bit towards realism, though you can always think of it as a tactical puzzle, I guess ... and its not a bad thing.

Keep in mind that this is not a shooter, but a strategy game, you don't have direct control over the troopers but rather you give them orders so some decisions are purposedly left out of your hands.

The current batch of missions may change, and maybe 2 vs 15 won't happen no more. Treat the missions as "lets see what we can do". Unlike real life operations, you have the luxury to experiment with various situations, and see what can be done in adverse conditions.

Train/play hard, fight easy!

Here's my two cents: While I really like the game overall I must say that I didn't enjoy those missions where you only had two guys to command. To learn the game they are ok, but later they feel more like a puzzle game, which I don't like. Therefore I hope the game will move more towards realism, strategy and away from the puzzely elements.
