We like to hang out in Steam. Even read this forum, and answer where we can, though there's a great bunch of people helping with that already.

We were aiming for the end of the year, but we will probably choose some other period, since it's hard to launch at the same time with the big boys :)

At the moment we would like to be feature-complete (or beta) at the end of the year.

that would be amazing and ive been following your project since the start. and if i can tell you this a good time to re-lease it would be about 3 or 4 monzhs after the realy anticapted games come out since thne people will wore it out just a small idea but its your choice i would wait one more year for the game if i needed to

Like they said swing by the official forums people. We got a nice community going and it's a nice place to hang out and discuss doorkickers. Plus theirs polls on stuff.

Alpha 7 most likely before Christmas, with Replay and some other stuff in it.

Alpha6 final stage? man we have MUCH more to come :) Which is good/bad depending on how you think about it :)

I ve got a few suggestions:

1) No storyline, but random situations with different places, varying from common police dispatches to military engagements (eg from domestic assault that became a hostage situation dealt by local police to an american embassy bomb defusal in Iraq dealt by the marines or Seals);

2) More mention to real life police and special forces units (eg SAS, SWAT, FBI, GRU) and possibly giving aesthetical aspects for each. I found it really cool Medal of Honor raised this idea, although they didnt accomplish it in its full;

3) A polished briefing, with "drawable" maps and general info, so players can plan accurately;

4) The ability to use tazers and cuff people, which could make mission preparations more careful;

5) Weapons and gadgets: the more options, the more replayability (even though I believe mods can cover that);

6) Bigger maps with varied placements (like the neighbor building being used to overwatch and snipping);

7) Actions like crouching and going prone.

How much time is there between alpha release?
Do you have a system like prison architect were you release one every month?
Also do you have a demo for the game?

One ~every month until now, beta will be next.
We had a demo a long time ago, but it was hard keeping it up-to-date with the game, so we interrupted it. Before/After the full game's release we may release a free demo that shows all of the game's features.

Not sure if you guy have recieved a question/comment like this before but are you guys planning for final release/future update to allow soldier linking with shield soldiers in the sense that dragging a soldier to overlap with a shield soldier would then create a perminent follow order option that would consistently keep the soldier following the shield soldier using him as mobile cover. just thought that this would be a cool idea and get alot more use out of the shield soldiers and would just like to hear your input on it.
