Less Lethal
I'm sure it's already in the works, but it would be awesome if after using the tazers hostiles didnt stand up in a full spray with their guns. I think that as soon as you engage zipties it should pause or cancel the the hostile interaction, as of now it's extremely hard but possible to to get two hostiles with 1 guy with a tazer but the timing is so very harsh, there is almost not enough time for one hostile vs a tazers depending on the situation. But then the fact they just instant pop up in a full spray makes it impossible to counter this scenario. Just wondering if something was in the works :) I was a HUGE fan of the swat series so going less lethal should be a full option for just about every level.

Acknowledged, but why are you trying to get two guys with the tazer, without anyone to help / cover?

Testing the limits of the equipment. :) But thats when I notice hostiles had no ready time before they could stand up shooting after a tazering.

Why should something like this be in the works? In reality, it's really hard to taze and arrest a suspect by yourself and impossible to incapacitate two enemies unless you are using two Tasers. The Taser doesn't knock you out, it's only effective as long as the current flows through the body, reloading the Taser means that the first suspect isn't shocked anymore and he can stand up and attack you that very second. AFAIK Tasers don't have "auto-fire" option so somebody has to keep his finger on the trigger.

Even so you've just been tazed how do you feel?. And to clearly state the instance. 2 troops stack up on a door A trooper opens door while B peaks fires at first guy then reloads to get guy in room around corner as i reload and head for guy #2 trooper A then heads hostile #1 for the arrest while trooper A HAS TO RELOAD before he can do anything thust making it difficult to reload and go get the second guy depending on his distance from me. The fact i started zip tying should make all the difference because about the second he should be arrested he stands gun in full blaze taking out not one both both troopers.

If you were hit with enough volts to put you on the ground i don't think your gonna get up and start shooting the moment it's over. having watched people been tazed it's really lol

If he were tazed shouldn't there be even a small delay to stand up ready and then light the room up? They instantly transfer from twiching on the floor to rambo in the room. And if a trooper made it to him before this time was up even if it takes me 2 seconds to cuff him, I don't think he's moving with a knee in his back while zip tie him. but yet he teleports up guns hot.

You have ~8 seconds (didn't count) after you tased the enemy to arrest him. How is that not enough time? Reloading takes like 2 seconds. The game already helps you by letting you do the arrest with the same trooper that used the Taser. He should be incapable to do other tasks while the suspect is incapacitated (he's operating the Taser, keeping the current flowing) while another trooper does the arrest.

You're complaining about not having some stupid animation the shows the enemy dust himself off before he starts shooting at you again just to give you enough time to do a completely unrealistic resolution for that particular scenario. Watch as many videos as you like but the fact remains the same, the Taser works by overstimulating the neuro-muscular sinapses which overwrites the nervous impulses sent by the brain causing the target to lose control of his body (that's why they fall to the ground). The second the current stops, he regains control over his muscles. What you see in the videos are either volunteers who have no reason to get up quickly after they've suffered a traumatic experience or videos of actual arrests where the suspect is being tased until he's handcuffed.

im saying that my tropper is onthe suspect arresting him IE knee in back. but yet he can stand up while im still in arrest animation and full unload a clip.......that is the complaint when i reach him his little count down should stop or i should have the ability to retaz if i know i can't make it. I mean I am on top on him with a tazer out but i can't stop him from shooting me?

No problem, just trying to give helpful could bes in certain situations. I REALLY enjoy this game and have put alot of time in it. It reminds me of SWAT games. And most counter terrorist groups pride themselves on their less lethal tactics. I know their is alot more to come :)

If you try to please everyone, you might aswell bury the project..

I love the game too, just look at my hours :) but just running in blasting every time gets old and is lil too ez, trying to arrest all suspects now that is respect. And good police work.
I have also noticed if you taz a hostile in a door way no one can then get threw til after he is cuffed. Making for really bad scenarios and once again justifying the need for repeat tazering or for troopers to pin suspects when they reach them. just a thought :)

Don't worry guys, we're listening to all suggestions but still putting them agains the blueprint of the game, available resources and so on. We just want to keep a civil tone so everyone can get along :)

On the issue in question we will fix it so that bad guys can no longer cancel a handcuffing on their own, and also make them take some time until they can shoot again, when recovering from a tazing. Specifically it will probably be considered similar to a disarming, they won't lose the weapon (at least not for now) but they'll still take some time to get it up.

As we said before, once we manage to do proper arresting and surrendering bad guys it will still be the exception rather than the rule (though easily moddable otherwise) to see a guy surrender. Your tactical skill will matter though ;)

But once a bad guy will surrender, you'll still need to secure him, so this will take some planning as to have another trooper provide cover for the handcuffing officer.
