The Game Crashes After the Into

Okay, so I just bought the game under the belief that I would be able to play the game, however after trying to start the game twice (With no change whatsoever) the game continues to IMMEDIATELY crash to desktop. I feel as if I was ripped off, and won't be able to enjoy the experience that I've been craving. If anyone can help or give insight, please do. Thank you!

C:\Documents\<your username>\battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\video.♥♥♥, open it and look forthe resolution, then change it to 800x600.

I believe that the resolution is already at 800x600. I'll look into it though and update you on the current position.

I'm not sure on how to open the video.com file. It has the blank page icon and won't let me inside.

UPDATE: The game went past the intro cutscene and even let me mess around with the account system. As I tried to recover an account, the blasted thing died on me after failing the password. I'll try to reboot it.

Alright, I keep crashing while trying to create an account. HOWEVER, If I quickly click Single Player, I am able to play without problems until I hit ESC for the menu.

I'm in the same boat. I can get into the login screen but as soon as I try and login it kicks me out of the game...
