Yes, we have been working on it and now it's live in the new version (1.1d):

It's still in "beta", but you can play with it from start to end.

Just tried it in the Rift, and absolutely loved it!! I only played for about 20 minutes, but it seems perfect for the Rift. The inventory in particular brings back memories from the early Tomb Raider games - only now You see the items hovering in front of You in 3D.. it's brilliant!
The mecanics and the scale are great for VR, too.

A couple of things, though:
- The breathing movement is not needed in the rift.. It's a bit disctracting, since we do our own movements. :-)
- I couldn't save? (Sorry if I missed this somewhere.. haven't really looked for any manual yet).
- And the big one: The Rift won't work in Linux. I just get a black screen as soon as I select it.
Pleeease fix this!!!

Other than that: At the price, it's a no-brainer for anyone with the Rift.

Thanks, I'm purchasing right now due soley to your feedback! Looked cool but I have a ton of games, but not so many that support Oculus Rift this early.

just tried it, play feels REALLY natural in the rift. i highly recomend playing it standing up with a wireless xbox controller. also turn off noise option (film grain)

It would be nice if it worked in Linux. Right now, the only occulus "game" that I can get to work in Linux is the demo that comes with the SDK... It would be nice to have some actual game that I can demo to friends without lugging my windows desktop around.

Fixed it in Linux! ;-) I was trying to get "Blocked In" (a very great demo from DanielErnst) which also just got a black screen on Linux working. Comparing the files to "Lost in the Rift" and "Probably Archery" (two very cool demos/games that do work with Linux), I noticed that the Plugins directory was missing from the data directory.

Simply copying that directory (with it's subfolders and libOculusPlugin.so) from a working demo, got Blocked In working perfectly with the rift - and, it turns out, same goes for Doorways!

Now I'm off to try it on every other demo and game that has given me a black screen in the past.

Saibot guys.. The fix couldn't be any easier - so please update Your Linux build with the plugin folder! :-)

Thanks for the feedback and thanks FictionX for the information. We have a new version up (1.1e) with that fix included: http://steamcommunity.com/games/Doorways/announcements/detail/1820872929401095064
Make me know if it works both on Linux and Mac.
Thank you.

I bought this game just because of the rift support but one eye moves slower than the other, but the first opening scene works fine (selection menu moving through a tunnel) and as such is not playable. Its not the rift or my setup as I have checked both, it's only occurs with your game, using Win7. Please fix it, thanks.
