Thoughts on the game?
It seems to promise alot but the trailer and pictures give me the image that that's about it. "Seems"

If you have played it give us your honest opinion and "review"

There is a demo on the website. I personally really enjoy the game. Its does a better job at portraying a full war than other military action games. You even get to command your forces like a really light weight strategy game, later on. The actual combat isn't spectacular, though the space battles fare better than the ground battles. Thats the biggest issue. The demo will give you a good idea of that gameplay though. Do take into conseration that the ground battles get more interesting later on when there are bombers, a mech, and building laser defenses to deal with.

I've only played for a few hours (As the wyr who are funny) - it reminds me a lot of a space 4x game like masters of Orion or gal civ but it's all in the 1st/3rd person perspective.

There are not many many ships or building types (only a few) but there are plenty of upgrades.

I'm enjoying myself so far.

i just hope they have an expansion to add the features that would make it amazing (not that it isnt already really good).

I've beaten the game a couple times, and if you don't mind some rough edges, this is really good value. It's a fun sci-fi fantasy mashup that continually ramps up in terms of gameplay up to the conclusion. Each time you think you've seen what the game has to offer, another layer gets thrown in. Definitely recommend.

Looks like a great game to distract me until X: Rebirth is released next month

Hey Mobius Archer, FullAutoAttack, Corsair -
I just wanted to say thanks for adding your thoughts here. It helps folks out a lot to hear your experiences with the game.

I got this in the bundle a while back, and found it to be seriously weak. The ground combat is quite possibly the worst 3rd person shooting experience I've ever had. I quit out of boredom before I even got to any 4x gameplay.

Well, i bought it and i only played this for one hour.
All i can say is that the gameplay is great and fun. Still: animations(ground), gfx and sound is not that great but fits with this combination of gameplay. But when you consider the price and the gameplay i think i did a very good buy.

I still hope that this is only the beginning. For a indie its great and very nice concept.

I have a question regarding the space battles. Are you limited to just your fighter or can you pilot a battleship? Also do the battleships operate as carriers? If someone has a video I would appreciate it.

Hi Maverick,
In space, you just have a fighter, and you can dock inside a space station. I have been chatting over ideas for a more battleship-focused game on my forums, which would be something I'd love to work on. Feel free to drop by if you're interested in that discussion.

Sure thing.
