Accelerating endgame? [Some Spoilers]
Is there a way to accelerate the endgame?
I'm just waiting for the cartographer to discover the three red stars for me to begin the final missions (I assume), and the alien battles I find to be futile. I destroy a portal and it is instantly rebuilt, they destroy one of my places and I can instantly rebuild. I am enjoying the game but there is no real power struggle currently.
Is there a way to just hurry up the cartographer? Or can I at least get a time estimate of how long I need to wait?
Thanks.

Hi jmcone -

It takes 25 minutes in-game time for the cartographer to find the three red stars. After which you should have received a mission on where to find it. If for some reason that isn't triggering (which can happen if all your stations and cartographers have been destroyed), let me know.

Also jmcone, I just noticed you wrote up a review. Thanks, I appreciate both your well written praise and critique. With such a broad game, I kind of figured different aspects might hit or miss with different folks to some extent. Salvation Prophecy was a risky design for a game, and that risk is probably responsible for both its successes and failures. It's really interesting to read feedback like yours, and it should help with design on my future games.

Thanks for the reply!
The game is very enjoyable but as I wrote in the review it becomes less enjoyable at the end simply due to the ceaseless repetition of the final tasks that you have to undertake with no break at the end.
I will play on and finish my first playthrough, heartened by the knowledge that I don't have to wait as long as for the previous wormhole, and one day I will be sure to come back and try play through the game again as a different nation.
Thanks again for the reply and thanks also for creating such a game.
