Contemplating buying this
I tried out the free version, and I feel like I did really well with it. But with the limited amount of money and this being probably the lowest price it will ever be, should I get it? I want to become a small time game dev and make fun little projects.

Also are there any differences between this and the version bought from the clickteam site?

No there are no differences between this and the one on the site. Well the one on the site costs more. ;p . But yeah, if you wanna get started making games, then Clickteam is a good choice. You don't need coding knowledge, you just need logical thinking. (If I do this, then this will happen).

Most definitely if your just starting out. There are plenty of examples to tinker with, and if you need help getting started or such, you can leave a thread here, along with the entirety of clickteam's own forum on their website.

And really, $34 for a creation software that is royalty free (aside from needing to include a logo and such) is an extremely good deal.

The Steam version of course comes with the benefits of Steam (Install anywhere, Workshop, autoupdate) but that is about it. Its a worthy investment, It was for me when I started out years ago, and now I have 3 games on Steam 5 on iOS and Android a ton of shareware titles and one heading to Xbone. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Ok I have a few questions now. I know I'll need lisenseing to publish games on consoles like the Xbone and such, but will there be any extra fees or cost from Clickteam or whoever like Microsoft? And for exporting, what other consoles is this able to export to?

Currently the only exporter for consoles is the Xbox One exporter. Not sure if they are going to make another exporter because they have to make deal with companies like Sony, to make an exporter.
