What DRM is required?
I just want to know all drm is required for this, and every other command and conquer game on steam.

Bonus points if you can tell me what drm I'll NEVER have to deal with whatsoever if I avoid multiplayer. (I's secondary to me.)

Thanks.

Is it really that complicated of a question?

Are you seriously spamming every forum with this conspiracy idiocy?

Asking about several specific games=a conspiracy theory? Interesting.

Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath: No DRM. Pogo.com account required for online play.

The abomination of Tiberian Twilight: Always online for single player and multiplayer. Origin account required to play.

Red Alert 3: Limited activations (that can be increased by using Origin live chat). Origin account for online play.

Red Alert 3 Uprising: I have no idea about activations, but it doesn't need Red Alert 3 to play.

And now I know why I should avoid all of them. Bonus points for the limited activation crap. It's in many ways about as bad as Origin itself.

Unless you only want online play only, TW and KW are amazing games. Last ones before EA took a crap on the RTS aspect of C&C in 4. I have 4 but mostly just to see the story as I have always loved the story of C&C.

But 3 is a great game. I bought TW & KW when they came out in collectors limited numbered editions and rebought on Steam for the ease of install. Plus I am a pretty big C&C fan.

Again, I don't touch anything that requires me to go through origin. The fact that I have to basically work around the already ****** up system by signing up for something else that EA owns is bad enough.

If you mean the Origin software, you don't need to install it. No C&C game needs Origin software to run.

If you mean that you don't even want to register an account (email and password) on the Origin website, then you won't be able to play TT (single and multi) and RA3 multiplayer.

If the limited activations for RA3 annoy you, you can use this [activate.ea.com] to deactivate the game when needed.
