No Multiplayer in Uprising?
Steam page says singleplayer only. Are there no Co-op mission and no versus mode?

True, there is no option to get into multiplayer, Co-Op or VS. mode,
its just Single-Player game, but the C&C RA 3 (non-uprising) got multiplayer from what I know

there is not multiplayer, it would be nice if it had one though

I honestly could've sworn this had MP before...

why? i cannot fathom why this dosent have multiplayer.
its bascially a bunch of fun little challenge maps that got released for the arcades on the consoles.

They dont want to add multiplayer because "Uprising" has OverPowered units such as the AC-130 like gunship, the massive flying head/ battleship and the russian unit i cannot remember what are.

Exactly what Dr.Kleiner said, the new units in Uprising are to OP to be used in a multiplayer game. The old game still has multiplayer, check that out one.

There are some MODs that you can use units from Uprising when you play RA3 multiplayer game. However, the units are too OP though they are funny.

If its multiplayer you seek then look at the Upheaval mod for the original game...

Can't say for sure yet, but so far I can't figure out how to add people to the game

He that makes the mistake of only focussing on advanced units.. will lose very soon, by those who keep the presure on from the start.

That flying head is extremely good, I grand you that.
But it comes with a WHOPPING pricetag of 6300 credits.
For that amount of money you can build a lot of other units...
And in order to build it, you will need to have build at least ->
Powerplant (800 credits)
Refinery (2000 credits)
Mainfraim (2500 credits)
Docks (1000 credits)
*upgrade I for docks (750 credits)
*upgrade II for docks (1000 credits)
And only THAN we can construct the giant head (at a 6300 each prictag)
Add to that the time all this needs to be constructed....

As for your questions what units everybody get in uprising, well quite a lot, and many of them would offer plenty of tactic options for multiplayer games :

Japan gets :

*archer maiden (500 credits)
Japans version of a "rocket infantry", good anti-air & anti-ground, slow firing speed though, and more expensive than those other units, still essential unit to allow japan to occupy buildings properly., unlocks after upgrade I of the barracks, so usefull in mid-play.

*rocket angel (900 credits)
-flying infantry unit, strong attack against anything.. but at a pricetag of 900 and with very low health, it can cost you a fortune if there is even the least bit of air defence around.
Also this is and only avaialable after barracks has been upgraded twice.

-Steel ronin (1600 credits)
*a cheaper, less versatile, and weaker version of the king oni, available after 1 upgrade of the armor factory. it is only 400 credits cheaper though, so it's usefullness is quite limited.
And it's a melee unit, meaning that it has to use a sword and cannot attack from range.
Still it does help in the midgame, when japan in the vanilla game is lacking

*the giant flying head (6300 credits)
-ship unit, that can also transform to flight modus, and that has strong anti-ship, and strong anti-air as well as short range bombardment. (the only way to take it out is long range bombardment units.. anything that gets to close is simply dead..)
There IS nothing better than this... but than again, there is nothing more expensive either.. and when in flying mode, they no longer have air-defense..

The Allies get :

*Cryo legionare (1600 credits)
-second tier infantry unit (1 tech upgrade needed), where the cryo copter can only aim at 1 unit at a time, this unit can spray-freeze enitre batallions of infantry, tanks and such.
They however do not freeze in place, but rather become quite fragile.
Can be usefull if placed in an IFV, without an IFV, they will just be expensive run over stuff for the enemies tanks. I personally hardly use these units.

*The Pacifier (2000 credits)
-late game (needs 2 tech upgrades and a tech building) allied artilery unit.
in default mode has a chaingun that is very good at mowing down infantry, and decent at mowing down tanks, but when deployed, it becomes stationary, and will auto-target anything in range.. there IS a time-delay however and fast units can move away before the salvo hits.. also it will also friendly fire (1 enemy assaulting your buildings, that gets targeted by this thing, will do a LOT of damage to your own buildings..)
But this thing makes the allies even better in the long range area..

*Future Tank X1 (3000 credits)
-very late game (both tech upgrades and tech building neded) allied tank
This is the new boss of the battlefield, apocalipse tanks no longer rule the battlefield, and combined with the other advantages the allies has.. they now simply overpower anybody..
It's a tank though... if there is water between... they just have to use their chronosphere..

*harbringer gunship (3600 credits)
-late game allied arcraft, that does not need to refull ever and stays in the air forever.
it can kill anything that is sea or ground base, and will automaticly patrol an area... as such only a few of these can defend a base... and attacking with them will level the others base in seconds... it is also fairly well armored, so it can take a pounding..
Very good unit, making the allies even more overpowered. Oh and it has normal speed.. so it's basilcy a kirov with normal speed, double the armor rating, and ranged attack.. quite deadly.

The russians are screwed over
They get :

*Mortar cycle (600 credits)
-early game armor unit, that is trained from the barracks, very fast, good against armor, and buildings, clearly ment to harass the enemy in early game, and quite suited for that.

*desolator trooper (1500 credits)
-late game infantry unit. that fires polution spray or shots... when they destroy a unit with that.. an area will for a short period be toxic to anyone. Their late game availability, high price, the fact they are infantry makes them unsuited for attacking, and the fact their own toxin is also deadly to friendly units, makes them unsuited for home defence. I never use those units.

*Raper (1600 credits)
-mid game anti-air walker.. this one in fact is very good, it is the best mobile anti-air + ant-armor defence their is (being a little more powerfulli than an IVF with a rocket infantry inside, but with about 2 times more armor rating) I quite like them, and if available to me, I sure will build them. They can also "test jump" changing them in a stationary defence pod, that will never use electricity. (quite handy also!)

*grinder (1600 credits)
-mid game amfibious grinder.. (does grind any units that it can run over, infantry, tanks, ships..) acceptable speed, but it has no secondairy attack, making them tricky to use, they also have not that much armor rating, so if they don't run over something fast... that thing will most likely kill them instead... even the most basic base defences are a deterant for these things.

So basicly the russians are made into a early to mid game player, than have to overwhelm the others early on.
The allies rule in the in mid to late game, with especially ther artillery pieces being way overpowered.
Where the japanese only come into play in late game, but can absolutely rule from the skies and seas... but at such an insane pricetag.. than in many games they will be dead before they get rolling.
