Its a free program called slimdrivers and it will update all the hardware on your system. Be warned the free version is considerably slower than the free version so expect to take an hour or 2 to fully update everything on your computer.
Also: Update Direct X and your GPU drivers.
The same compatibility issues were seen with Windows XP and 7 for games that were of old generation....this hate on windows 8 has to stop, especially from users that don't seem to understand what they are talking about.
Windows 8 brings a lot of next gen features to the table, and seriously it was about time they came up with a different solution to the start button. The OS has been VERY good to me, I ran it since launch with no reformats and is very light on HDD and battery compared to even windows 7.
Anyways,
To posters, have you guys tried to run the game in windows XP enviroment or windows 7? Right clicking on the executible and forcing admin + windows 7 on it?
I am about to buy CC3 + Kane W
