Ærena needs at least 32GB RAM!
;) ok, to be honest I think your rig is a very fine machine and probably the problem is on the software side (so our fault). We have a known issue where the game freezes at first start (and sometimes the second one) and then runs without problems at every start.
It´s one of the things that leaves me riddled even after quite some bug hunting, since it appeared a day before we patched. To blame steam woud be cheap, but I can´t rule it out completely.
TLDR: thx, we will fix asap! sorry for the inconvenience!
So far I haven´t been able to identify the issue.
Can you please try again? (Both of you)
Can you also include your time, timezone and if you don´t mind: country.
thx a lot!
Time: 5:05 pm
Time Zone: Pacific
Country: United States
I am installing this on another machine. Will try that and see if it works and go from there.
Well, I can tell you that location is probably not the issue. At 6:49pm EST, I installed this on another machine in the house and it seems to be working just fine. I am on my laptop now trying to load the game and am still stuck loading as I type this. I will post the DXdiag of the other machine in a moment on a new post.

I provided only partial DXdiags as there is a 1000 character limit on these posts, however I am willing to supply full reports and other info you require to address this.
BTW, I use the same Kaspersky PURE 3.0 on both machines and have the app trusted on both machines.
Thanks for putting all the effort in providing this information, but while it is interesting it give no clear indicator for your particular problem.
So may I ask you to send us a mail to aerena-support@cliffhanger-productions.com and include the output_log.txt file which you can find at
..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Aerena\game_Data
Please also copy the info you provided above into the mail, so we have all in one spot should we need to pass the report on to tech.
Thanks a lot, I hope we can get you playing on your machine asap!
