Stuck loading after launch
I launch the game, Choose my video option and then get stuck loading. I have trusted the game in my antivirus/firewall, rebooted the system, and ran a DXdiag I was going to share but the forums will not let me post it.

Well that one is quite clear, you´re low on memory.
Ærena needs at least 32GB RAM!

;) ok, to be honest I think your rig is a very fine machine and probably the problem is on the software side (so our fault). We have a known issue where the game freezes at first start (and sometimes the second one) and then runs without problems at every start.

It´s one of the things that leaves me riddled even after quite some bug hunting, since it appeared a day before we patched. To blame steam woud be cheap, but I can´t rule it out completely.

TLDR: thx, we will fix asap! sorry for the inconvenience!
SmileyCyrus Oct 25, 2013 @ 6:46pm
Thanks for the response. If I can do anything else on my end to help, please let me know. Will be glad to send a full Dxdiag if needed or w/e.

I also am having this same problem, was working 2 days ago just fine. Thanks for looking into this.

wanted to give you an update:
So far I haven´t been able to identify the issue.

Can you please try again? (Both of you)
Can you also include your time, timezone and if you don´t mind: country.

thx a lot!
Smite God Down Oct 28, 2013 @ 5:07pm
Ok so I went to go try again at a later date and it worked perfectly. I don't have the problem anymore but if you still want the information it is:

Time: 5:05 pm
Time Zone: Pacific
Country: United States
SmileyCyrus Nov 4, 2013 @ 3:05pm
Still having this issue. 6:00 pm EST Tennessee, USA.

I am installing this on another machine. Will try that and see if it works and go from there.

Well, I can tell you that location is probably not the issue. At 6:49pm EST, I installed this on another machine in the house and it seems to be working just fine. I am on my laptop now trying to load the game and am still stuck loading as I type this. I will post the DXdiag of the other machine in a moment on a new post.

So 2 different machines same location, same time, same account, same IP. The first one ( relatively new ASUS RoG laptop) does not pass the loading at the launch screen, The second one ( a 6-7 yr old self built desktop) launches the game just fine.

I provided only partial DXdiags as there is a 1000 character limit on these posts, however I am willing to supply full reports and other info you require to address this.

BTW, I use the same Kaspersky PURE 3.0 on both machines and have the app trusted on both machines.

Hi!
Thanks for putting all the effort in providing this information, but while it is interesting it give no clear indicator for your particular problem.
So may I ask you to send us a mail to aerena-support@cliffhanger-productions.com and include the output_log.txt file which you can find at
..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Aerena\game_Data

Please also copy the info you provided above into the mail, so we have all in one spot should we need to pass the report on to tech.

Thanks a lot, I hope we can get you playing on your machine asap!
