What I am using are:
This means=Intro off, CPU Count 1, Custom resolution, Resolution, Windowed.
If you wish to use full screen, then leave the last one out.
If you do have windowed display with borders, then something is off and you need to change settings. I do not honestly remember which settings that would be, but I do not get borders with -w.
-CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1160x32 -w
But it just won't start. Is there another setting I need that lets me put in any kind of res. Well I'll try some more...
Edit: Ok I'm just running with the -w option, then I can set the taskbar to autohide and it looks like normal full screen (except for a very small tiny sliver of the taskbar showing at the botton) so i'll just stick with this. But I wanted to ask about the CPU Count 1, does that make the game more stable or run smoother or whats the reason for it?
With taskbar set to autohide this works pretty good. I could also use ProcessLasso to set the program to 1 CPU as well as other options like disable hyperthreading for the app or set it's priority, it's a handy program.
You'll need to use a third party app to have SC4 run in borderless windowed mode.
