Game crashes upon start.

Just got around to reinstalling this game, and was excited to give it a go on my new computer, however the game crashes upon start up every time, windows looks for a solution, but finds none, and the game exits. Looks like others are also having problems, any idea what I can do to make the game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?

All you need to do is go to your game installation folder
most probably "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Burnout Paradise"
search for "BurnoutParadise.exe" > right click on it > Compatibility tab > set launch compatibility mode
and select "Windows XP SP2 or 3".
Apply and close.

That should fix the launch issue.
