Let's be honest here, games of seemingly mundane things are fun. Cook, Serve, Delicious! Is no exception by any stretch of the means, it starts as a pretty slow paced cooking game, you serve the basics, like Pretzels, or Corn Dogs, maybe some Fries/Chips if you're feeling up to it, slowly you advance to slightly more advance things, such as Burgers, Fish, Pancakes.
And then begins rush hour, a twice an ingame day experience that's out to make your life a living hell, What's this? Three people need Lobster and another 2 need wine while a Fish is Cooking? QUICK OPEN THE WINE, GET THE LOBSTERS RIGHT!
Once you get down to the late game, I.e Three stars or later, the game boils down to a fast paced rush of exhilleration (Pardon the pun there), and even once you get five stars, the game doesn't end there, bonus challenges like Iron Chef, or a Hardmode, where Rush hour becomes even more brutal and fast paced, in which making one mistake is vicious and affects you brutally. Alternatively, why not try multiplayer? One person handles which dishes to prepare, the other whips them up ready to cook, or serve, or something.
Overall, this game is highly reccomended for time wasting, and I say definately pick it up if you have the cash
