Trickster & Concealed Pouch

A Genie killed the Trickster then using its ability too my Talsiman even though it was secreted in my Concealed Pouch. The Pouch is supposed to prevent the stealing of any item inside it via the use of spells and abilities. The wording on the card references "character's spells and abilities" so I'm supposing that the Trickster, not being a character, might get around this.

So I guess it depends on who is actually stealing the object from the Concealed Pouch - is it the character that just killed the Trickster using the Trickster's ability, in which case this shouldn't be allowed, or is it the Trickster in the midst of his death throes that magically yanks the object from the Pouch, in which case it would be allowed?

It is the trickster's card effect that is being used to steal the items.
As the pouch and bag of carrying say "neither may it be taken by any character's special ability or spell" and the trickster is none of these.
So it allowed to steal the concealed pouch, bag of carrying or any item that might be in them.
