Needs to be expansion independent...
I thought Pirate is pretty good but wasn't a big fan of his art, personally...!
Why? if your not playing with the Treasure map expansions ok. just because its not in the basic set? anyways you can put the sets that have treasure maps on the card so players know they need that expansion in play to make good use of the Pirate.
You always have a gold if at anytime you have no gold you gain a gold.
Whenever you roll a 6 for your move, you may sail across the Storm River as if you were using a Raft.
Whenever you encounter a Stranger you may immediately "press-gang" them into your crew and take them as a Follower. The press-ganged Stranger will add 3 to your Strength in battle, after which if you do they depart to the discard pile. You may only use one press-ganged Stranger during a battle.
Whenever you lose a life in psychic combat you may discard one press-ganged Stranger instead of losing the life.
