A funny thing happened on the way to the Crown...

Not played for a bit since waiting for Sacred Pool and City in the sale. Get my new expansions and load up. So there's me (Troll), the Elementalist (effectively starts Str: 5 Crft: 5 so not overpowered at all), and the Highlander (who I think is destined for the lower reaches of the fan lists). Anyway a brief visit to the Enchantress gets Cft +1, then I get the Crown Cft +2, few bits and pieces here and there, the Unicorn, few visits to a Str pool, Strength up to 12, 7 in the (mines ?), beat Death first time, autowin on the Werewolf ... and then I remember why the game is called Talisman.

Anyone else ?

Actually it worked out well. The Elementalist followed me, I mugged him for his Talisman, went up to the Crown, drew Battle Royale, killed everyone else, and won the game.

Which was nice.

P.S. D-Bax DID IT. Level 100. OMG. Wait till number 2 finds out that it takes nearly as long to get from 88 to 100 as it does from 0 - 88.

i feel sorry for the guy who got disconnected while being in the valley of fire and on the next move ai moved backward instead on to the coc. later on and yet another move backwards and by the time the poor fellow reconnected his character was in plain of peril.... and with no fate and no luck he rolled a 14 when he had craft 10. A huge F............. came on and then he was gone
