The Cheat console does not work on Steam Version :(

Can someone please explain this? I have the WildTangest version and the cheat console works. Its ctrl+shift+~ (Tild)

Was this removed cuz of the dumb achievements? If so please help?

Mine doesn't work either.. Did some web browsing and apparently it doesn't work at all on the steam version.

The code that listens for Ctrl-Shift-~ was stripped out. The cheat code parsing code is still there.

I didn't even think cheats could be used in this game; too bad it doesn't work on the Steam version. Does it work on the real one?

Yes it does. In the wildtanget version you could Ctrl+Shift+~ to bring up console

the cheats were pretty meh sometimes, everything scaled along with you regardless. I did like being able to spawn in the best stuff, though that was annoying since you could just give yourself tons of gold.
