The concept of "the typing of the dead" games always delighted me. It's the most direct version of gamification possible short of taping a game-and-watch to your quarterly report, but it's done with such brilliant irony that it immediately becomes palletable based almost solely on how frecking rediculous it is. Do you want to improve your typing abilities? Not really. Do you want to improve your typing abilities while gruesomely slaying hordes of zombies? Yes. Yes I do. and so do you. Yes you do, don't lie to me.
The game is just a minor reworking of the Wii game "The house of the dead: Overkill". I'm pretty sure all of these typing games are reskins, but the similarity disappointed me a little, since I had already clocked the Wii game, and this version didn't replace X and friend's guns with magical zombie-killing, chest mounted keyboards. Besides this purely aesthetic difficiency, the game is still fun as all hell, and the phrases you're made to type never stop being amazing.
Even if you're a slow as balls typer, this game is still the ♥♥♥♥. Buy it for the fun factor, not for the typing.
