Game won't start!
Guys.... I checked game files and redownload this game, but... They won't start. She starting and... immediately closed. 0_o WTF? Before patch, she work perfectly!

i have had this problem from the start i thought the patch would fix it :( aparently i have played for 30mins and i havn't even see the title screen

EDIT: If you have a laptop with an AMD graphics card, switch it to the intel one. It fixed for me...

I am have the same problem. I have tried every sugggestion I could find. Including launching in Safemode with the "Launch Options". Hope we get a fix soon, this is the only dud I have in my entire collection on here.

A bump is needed being that it's on sale everywhere in the hopes that some dev (Sega?) would like to take a look at the various users still having issues getting the game to run despite having PC's that meet (or exceed) the requirements, attempting the "Launh Options" fixes, the usual workarounds (Running as Admin, in Compatibility Mode, etc).

In short, I think there is still a pretty massive patch needed if several users running significantly more demanding games are having trouble with this little guy.

FWIW, the most common error appears to be the "App is already running" error....

I bought it when it was first released and still haven't been able to actually play it because of the "app is already running" error. Tried everything I can to make it work but it never does.

You have to "kill" the game process

Thanks Tati, but as I mentioned above, the "usual" fixes are not working for this particular game. Including killing the process, running safemode, running as admin, running under compat. mode, veriifying files, uninstalling & reinstalling (both Steam and the game itelf), etc.

This is a good heads up for AMD users until then.

Luckily the game is quite new still. Hopefully this will be issued on the next patch.

It does appear to be an AMD issue, as that seems to be the common trend with users being unable to load the game. However, none of the "Launch Options" seem to work. I can't see myself replacing a video card over the only game out of 300+ that doesn't work for me on Steam....I just figure the developers of the game would be more proactive with a solution (or at least acknowledging the apparent bug), since this has been an issue since the games release.

Buried DEEP in this forum is a solution I am attempting. Some drivers are not fully updating if you are utilizing the Auto-Update features. Attempt to MANUALLY update your drivers via amd.com under the Drivers & Support menu. This MAY be a solution, as it seems to be a fix for some. Will report back ASAP.
