Finally beats rotten forest

My feelings when i finally (on the 11th try) beats the rotten forest level in Kingdom Rush:

To me, this level was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard! I was extremely tempted to look up a guide online, but I tried and tried, and suddenly the victory comes, quite unexpected. I beat all other levels at 5 tries tops. But man, it felt goood to beat it after so many failed tactics.

I'm also trying Rotten Forest currently, but Tesla Towers didn't really help... maybe they changed something with a patch lately.

Nothing has changed, and Teslas still work great. Obviously those can't be your only two towers, though. Try mixing up your other towers. (You don't actually *need* Teslas, either, but they do help, and the easiest wins will always involve them I'd imagine .)

Tesla? I had one Ranger Tower for the Spiders and spammed the whole place with Arcane Towers. It was really easy once I figured that dead soldiers spawn husks. So I never built any baracks. <.<

I never tried that, was not aware that this was even possible..

Maybe this also works in Fungal Forest, which I'm trying to beat at the moment.
I have made it, but not with three stars yet..

[Naked Burn]

A Sorcerer Mage Tower on the right side of the last convergence to lower enemy armor will increase the efficacy of two Teslas placed on the left side of said convergence.

I go Paladins in the rear, two Teslas "behind" the final convergence, a Sorcerer on the other side, then mix in Musketeers near the deomn portal with One Shot - One Kill and Arcane Wizards with Death Ray along the Tainted Treant side.

With this strat, the Paladins are optional, but you will need to time your Cataclysm well.

As far as fungal Forest goes, I have beaten all challenges on Veteran difficulty on iOS, and on Steam, with three stars on campaign mode on both versions. I would never consider doing it without Paladins however. That just sounds like crazy talk to me.

Now on to the last two hell levels

Well, maybe because I used that OP Ice Hero and reinforcements. But Arcane Towers Teleport was really OP on that level. I'll reinstall it and hopefully my saves are still there and I'll try to upload a screenshot. But in Fungal Forest I used one Paladin Barack for each the west and the east path to the exit. With level 1 Heal for the Poison and max Holy Strike.

So let's see how do I upload Screenshots. Though I have to admit I used more than one ranger tower. This might be done with other Heroes, too, considering I used her only for tanking in the end and probably easiert with Oni due to his combustion immunity.

It might seem like the enemies ar bulking up at the bottom, but as soon as I maxed out teleport on those three triangle like towers it was really easy. Also I never used Reinforcements for tanking but for additional ranged damage and I left Death Ray at level 1. Money wasn't a problem at all, I even had to reconstruct a few towers.

Also, that's how I beat the Pandemonium, except with 2 Tesla and Sorcerer + Elemental for each side, and lot's of Sharpshooter Towers. Oni for tanking. Sometimes the weirdest approach might be the easiest. :)
