Can't get past "play" in fullscreen

I get sent straight back to desktop with no messages or errors beeps or anything, just kicks me back to desktop like nothing happened.

It happens as soon as i press play and only when it's in fullscreen.

Tried all the usual stuff, verfying cache, uninstall, install and reboot etc.

Nevermind it seems the menu simply is not aligned correct with the code of the buttons. Pressing play meant i truly pressed "stop" and i had to click empty top area of the screen to actually press "play".

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. That's on me. At certain resolutions, the current menu gets really misaligned and buggy. We're in the process of completely remaking the menu, hopefully fixing all the issues the current one has. I'm sorry for the issues the current mess of a menu caused!
