put tvs in the halls and plants everywhere then try to focus them best based off of the AI's likes and strengths. Dont make a coward a security guard in that sense of logic. Have both food replicators and a garden for grown food and plenty of bartenders to serve. Builders always tend to become sad, they are best used as a builder and another type switched back and forth, then they will remain in a better mood. Have a weight room for them to work out at and you should be golden.
I like to also use my builders in the Garden. Working in the garden alone tends to make the AI happy. So this is a good switch for them just switch them back later when you building more things. I leave most builders in their secondary job if I am not actually building anything. This keeps them active and somewhat happy.
You need a bartender to serve drinks as well as serve food once you have a garden. Botinists will grow the food harvest it and put it into the fridge, the bartenders then take that food, cook it and serve it up.
A space station that is all one level? Really? It is in space right? Can you build multiple levels or is it like building a one story house? Also, it appears that people are either getting bored or frustrated quickly.

it is a fun game but yea still in alpha so there are problems here and there to overcome. If you dont like that sort of thing then definatly wait till its done. I enjoy that sort of thing at times so I does me well to troubleshoot and find a way around something if I can.
I know they want to make it multiple floor levels in the future but not sure when they will attempt to impliment it.
Yea I always build one food replicator when I start my base. You wont need the bartenders till you start to expand and have a garden and enough people to suport that garden.
