Report a translation problem
Actually I think it was $30 when it first came out and some people (including me) thought it seemed more like a $20 game. So I think the dev has actually lowered the regualr price to $25 to boost sales a bit. (I'm pretty sure I paid $30 for it.)
It's also kind of a "niche" game that's unlilely to become the next Terraria or something, so because fewer people will be interested enough to buy it it has to sell for enough money to make the development cost worthwhile. (Basically the same reason why textbooks and other academic books are so expensive... a book about scholars debating some narrow field isn't going to make the NYT paperback bestsellers list.)
