I have exactly that setup and Enslaved was lagging quite often and crashing to desktop too, it's a poor port no matter setup. But tweaking might bring results, I just hate wasting time on that and play the PS3 version.

thx - is the game good?

This game is awesome, probably the best cinematic action adventure I have played, with interesting characters and story, good script, stunning visuals, however on first playthrough you might get frustrated at certain places, but if you finish and decide to replay it will be a BLAST because all the upgrades from the first play are saved.

650gtx with a i7 nephalem reporting in the game runs flawlessly...

GT 640M and i7-2670QM here, and it ran well enough for me to beat the game in a reasonable amount of real-world time. :D

It's good if you enjoy games like God of War, since that's exactly where it falls. :D

I have a GTX 480 and a Core 2 Duo E8400 and the game runs silky smooth which is NOT what I expected. It has only tanked when I was taking a bunch of screenshots.

Well I'm using 2x2 supersampling and ini tweaks to shadows at only 1024 otherwise higher shadows it is causing issues and doesnt seem to give much benefit. A couple other tweaks in ini with streaming and important stuff like HBAO can be done with code discussed elsewhere. I doubt you will make 60FPS with those setting but you can tinker with various things. SMAA on high looks really good too and you will be able to use that no doubt with HBAO too probably.

There are documents on this forum where you can view what to do.

God Of War? that's a odd comparision.
Makes me thing you've never played God Of War, as that has almost zero RPG elements in it.
i'd say it's more like a Jade Empire than a pure action games.

Please don't insult Jade Empire.

I am almost through the game and it is a movie on rails with barely any gameplay. Heck instead of solving the plattforming/puzzle sections yourself, your companion will just tell you before hand what to do. :/

I agree, this game is one of the biggest dissapointments so far. Everything is so on rails it's incredibly boring. You can get part any platforming section without even looking at ur screen and hold a and press in random directions. Everything is chewed up for you "oh boy, you better go around in some other way /pans the camera directly to the point to climb up on". The switching of the camera is annoying and makes for a frustrating experience because if you for some reason want to go back on yourself for a second you'll basically just be using your memory to remember where to try and jump off of. You're supposed to be this hella buff character jumping around everywhere, yet you can only jump off of tiny ledges when the cinematic is over etc ( some of them you just can't, you have to go on the right or left side of the ledge before it works even though it's the same height ). The controls are ♥♥♥♥ed every time the camera transitions ( some games leave your original movement directions intact until you let go of all of the controls entirely, not this game, insta-swap).

To compare this game to any great platformer or action game such as god of war above is a total insult, because those games make you feel like a total badass. This game makes me feel like im watching an interactive B-movie.

6/10. Technically done pretty decendly ( if I ignore the fact it's a port, which is not too hot. ), but everything else just falls flat.

Spectacle fighter with very light RPG elements. Granted, I blew through the game once and uninstalled because of the sheer space it required, and it's been a while, so I may be remembering differently than experienced the first time. :P
