Omfg... The camera...

This game possibly has the WORST camera system I've ever had.. It works during platforming but during combat it just moves constantly, goes into walls, & just goes everywhere you don't want it... I really need a mod for this ♥♥♥♥ cause I can't stand it anymore. Does one exist?

I had the camera get stuck once... while descending the Windmill, the camera got stuck as Monkey dropped off a platform below camera level. No amount of jumping or button mashing did anything. Restarting from last checkpoint worked.

There was a point earlier in the game, where you have to chase after the car Trip gets into. After the car crashes, there was supposed to be a cutscene. I got a black screen- but could hear sounds, so I thought it was still loading. Then I realized when I hit the jump button, I could here Monkey moving. Dunno what happened there. Resetting from checkpoint worked though, and it started from the cutscene that should've triggered.

How does a game get out the door like this? How do the developers play this game and say "Yeah, this works fine. Ship it."?

Yes, this is question appear in my head in many games in the steam. Sometimes people say that pirated versions work much more better without any bugs, so maybe all these Drm and other security features from developers just ruins their own games and they thinking about how to make more money, but not how to make their games a little better. engbad

Did the actual dev port this game or was it a third party? I ask as they didn't port there last game which released the same day as the console versions and thus I am inclined to believe it was whowever actually did the port.

I almost bought the game, but I found out that a 360 controller is necessary, ( it is impossible to play with keyboard and mouse ) . That killed it for me. Steam should warn about this problem on Store page. Pity, it looks like a really good game otherwise.

I play it with the controller so it is fine with me. Plus I don't have to see ugly pop in with teactures like i had playing this game on PS3.

I'm so glad Unreal engine 3 will be a thing of the past soon.

That's a bit extreme. Yeah, the camera is pretty bad and it's much better with a controller but I would say it's very far from unplayable with m&k.

I just started playing this today, and, while I really like this game so far, the camera is killing it. I haven't even tried playing with a keyboard/mouse yet, just decided to use controller right away, and already having issues.

I'm playing with mouse and keyboard and although it's wonky at times, it is completly doable.

This game has a really interesting storyline. but the gameplay is just aweful. cant skip cutscenes (atleast not that ive found) the camera causes me more trouble than i can describe. and trip is just an annoying ♥♥♥♥♥ that constantly interrupts me when im in the middle of a fight.

You can skip cutscenes hitting the back button twice, I believe. You must watch them at least once, I presume.
