FoV + Resolution question
Only answer this if you actually know what I'm talking about.

Does this port appear to be using the console's 720p FoV ?

Is anyone here playing this @ 1440p ? (2560x1440).

These questions are the only things stopping me from buying it, and I already beat it on the 360 years ago.

I believe the FOV is 70 which was making me nauseous, so I ended up using Widescreen Fixer to change it.

I'm playing at 2560x1440. you have to enable it inside the MonkeyEngine.ini

ResX=2560
ResY=1440

Thanks for the responses, I forgot to ask if it's capped @ 30fps too.

A 70 FoV sounds like a default 720p FoV, although I don't know what resolution you were running at, but I'm assuming it was higher than 720p. I'm going to assume that it's a Vert - game and uses the same FoV for all 16:9 resolutions. I don't even need to factor in that 70 is a subjective amount for that engine (and also game).

Sigh, this sounds like the entire Mass Effect series, all Vert - games.

If the Widescreen Fixer enables a higher FoV then I'll check it out, it's unfortunate that the WideScreenGamingForum.com hasn't reviewed this game.

I can confirm that the Widescreen Fixer does indeed work. Characters that would have otherwise been off screen with the native FOV may have stopped animations though.

Is the framerate capped @ 30 ?

I think it's capped at 62fps by defualt, but you can disable that in the MonkeyEngine.ini

I assume it doesn't cause any issues in the game, some games use frames to measure time, which is annoying.
