What does the save files look like?
I just finished the game.

Man I hate the cutscene stutters and lags and pseudo-hangs.

Anyways, nice game. Could have been optimized for the PC better. Still, I like it.

I want to play this game some other day. Would like to take a break from it then just play it again with Robot Trip and Ninja Monkey Assassin sometime in the future.

I'd like to keep the saved file, but don't know how it looks like.

What does the save file look like? Are they just a bunch of text files?

I believe I have my save files in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\my games\UnrealEngine3\MonkeyGame since its the only one with files that are not 0kb.

Its got two folders named "Config" and "Logs." But "Config" has configuration files and "Logs" just got a bunch of *.txt files.

I have another in C:\Gamez\Steam\SteamApps\common\Enslaved\MonkeyGame\SaveData but the file in there is DoNotDelete.txt with 0kb.

I also found forum entries about this file location: <Steam-folder>\userdata\<user-id>\245280 and it does have files in them that are not *.txt files.

Which of these do I save?

I am wary of deleting this game for fear of losing my saved game, just like what happened to me with Hydrophobia.

Any helpful insight will be appreciated.

Im going with:

<Steam-folder>\userdata\<user-id>\245280

I backup most of my game saves and that's usually how it works.
