Story Questions (SPOILERS)
So, did the end completely make sense? I get that Pyramid is creating a virtual reality, based on Andy Serkis's life. So, that character is sending out the "slavers", right? He's basically "saving" them from the mechs. If the slave ship Monkey and Trip were on in the beginning wouldn't have been destroyed, they both would have ended up in the Andy Serkis Matrix, right?

But who killed Trip's family? I guess the town was just attacked by mechs that aren't slavers. Were the slavers the same kind of mechs? That aspect was really confusing.

Oh, and I guess the story is that mankind created the mechs that then they went all Terminator and starting killing everyone. So, some genius created Pyramid right? But why were the mechs protecting Pyramid?

It just seems like there should be two sets of mechs: evil mechs that kill everyone, and "good" ones that are capturing people to "save" them. But the game just presents them as all the same, which is weird and confusing.

Anyway, thanks for any thoughts!

NOTE: I really enjoyed the game and story overall.

I thought the mechs were made by Pyramid to assist the slavers hence them killing/enslaving Trips villiage.

Capturing people to "enslave" them made sense, but why would Pyramid go around killing people? It sounds like the mechs existed before Pyramid - like Pyramid was a response to the slow destruction of the whole world.
