So we paid for wait.

It's coming. They're working on sorting out some OpenGL bugs. On last night's stream they said they're making progress, so hopefully we won't be waiting too long.

Alright great. Would've been awesome to have skullgirls and divekick on linux! but I think it will just be skull girls

The Divekick devs said they're not doing Linux, sadly.

The game runs fairly well under Wine; there are no major bugs aside from performance issues. The only thing is if you want to use an Xbox controller, you will quickly realize how poor the default driver for linux is. Getting xboxdrv and configuring it helps, but the trial and error of setting it up is like something out of my nightmares.

Well, performance hiccups are kinda a major issue, I can't play online like this. And it doesn't like my controller, diagonals on the analog stick aren't recognized and it somehow gets treated as both P1 and P2 so training mode is unusable.

Are you using the default xpad driver? That's the same issue I had; if you install xboxdrv and enable it, the controls get much better (this specifically fixes the P1 and P2 issue). I have a feeling that installing this driver will still be a mandatory procedure even if we get a native Linux version, unless the developers are kind enough to include it and launch it on a startup script.

Get a 360 wired controller. Not the an actual MS 360 pad but a 360 compatible that has a better Dpad (in case you ever use that over the analog). There are quite a few to choose from and you won't have issues with almost any game from here on.

I'm using a Wii Classic Controller Pro with wminput actually. Hate the 360 controller and love this thing too much to ever switch. If I do buy anything new I might as well just save up for a stick.

What stuff are you using in your prefix? For me it just shows a black screen after the loading part and freezes. TT_TT
