Bugs on online lobbies

Me and my friend we do 1v1 most times when making a lobby, now with 2nd encore doing some changes once we do a match it leads us back to the lobby instead of letting us choose either play again or change characters, it's been happening a few times and theres no player in our lobby but us. On my friend's screen i notice that im disconnected, on my screen it says im connected and he keeps inviting me to his lobby when im in his lobby.

In the beta I found 1v1 matches seemed to work best with All Play. That prevented us from going back to the lobby every match. Maybe you've already tried that, but if not give it a go and see.
