Disconnect: Invalid STEAM User ID ticket
I love this game but I'm gettnig that error message. I've restarted, restarted steam, loged out, logged back in, deleted the ClientRegistry.blob, and no one has my login and password. This is the only game I have trouble with. Any tips?

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? There appears to be no Ubisoft support for this game whatsoever.

I'm having the same issue.

Not yet, I've written Ubisoft on this topic but they still have time to reply

This error just appeared for me too. Sigh, I was looking forward to playing this with my friends.

I think it's just like old problem with the Ship too. Found some solutions in the thread, hope that helps.

I just bought this game, can't find a server :(

I've tried all of these (as did the OP in this topic) with no luck, so the problem is almost certainly with Ubisoft's servers.

This worked for me:
Solution: exit Steam (otherwise corrupt data will be saved), go to Steam\userdata\%userid%\config\ and delete/rename localconfig.vdf, then start Steam and try to join.

That appears to have done it for me, or at least I wasn't booted out within the first few minutes. Thanks for the help. Not sure what to do about the server problem.

I was having the same issue with The Ship tonight - deleting the Steam/config folder solved it after nothing else did.

Hello gamers !

I want to help you, we need plyaers for bloody good time.
here below is the answer i received from Steam support last year (i had the same problem):

---------------------

"Reason: Error verifying STEAM UserID ticket' when I try to connect to a server.
Important:

If the Steam Network is down or too busy you may not be able to connect to a Game Server - to determine whether or not this may be the issue, please check the Steam Status Page - if the last update for that page is more than 20 or 30 minutes behind, there may be a Steam network outage.

Please check to see if there are other players having the same problem on the SteamPowered Forums.

If it does appear as though the Steam network is down, you must wait until the problem is resolved.

If you continue to receive this error message, the issue can most likely be resolved by restarting the Steam client.

If restarting Steam does not resolve the issue, please exit Steam and delete the following files from your Steam directory:

Steam.dll
SteamUI.dll
Rename the ClientRegistry.blob

The files should be found at C:\Program Files\Steam\ (the location on your machine will vary if you specified a different installation folder, or if you have moved your Steam installation).

If you continue to see this issue, please contact Steam Support:

-----------------------

Does it work now for you, guys ?

I am haveing the same problem with The ship which was mad by the same company and it says I got a invalid steam to :( sigh

That was my solution:

A staff member has replied to your question:

Hello Harry,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).

Delete all of the contents of this folder except:

The Steamapps folder and Steam.exe (If 'exe' is not visible, look for the black and white Steam icon)

Restart your computer.

Then, you will need to launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut.

With Steam running, re-test the original issue.

Note: This process will not affect your currently installed games.

Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
