Crashing

The game keeps crashing whenever I try to open it. It worked fine before so I'm not sure what it is. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.

as a first random guess, try lowering the resolution you're launching the game at.

It crashes before it even brings me to the startup screen so I don't get a chance to change the resolution. I've sent the output log so hopefully that will help.

Can you try switching to the unstable branch?
You can do so by right clicking on ESJ in your steam library, clicking the "Betas" tab, then selecting "unstable - Unstable" from the dropdown, and clicking close.

you'll get an update which I'm hoping resolves your problem.

I've posted a new build to the unstable branch which may resolve the issue.

You can do so by right clicking on ESJ in your steam library, clicking the "Betas" tab, then selecting "unstable - Unstable" from the dropdown, and clicking close.

Hi, even after selecting unstable-unstable beta, it is still crashing before the screen shows anything (only pink background and music starts playing). I'm on Mac Lion OS. I also wanted to email you with the output log txt file but there is no such file in the directory.

On Mac, the log is located in

~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

I've had a report that it may not appear in finder, but you should be able to open it in safari or something like that.
