Is Can't Touch This broken for anybody else?

The description says "Survive 'Slow Dance' for 40 seconds without dying", but I've survived past 40 seconds about half a dozen times now (although, granted, not by much). I've died after reaching the 40 second mark as well as made it through the portal, and neither of these popped the achievement. Has anyone else had this issue, or has anyone managed to get it working after having problems? Apologies if a thread like this has already been made, I tried searching and it didn't give me any help.

No, it is not broken. I created a similar thread too. Thing is, unless you have a stopwatch, you can't really tell if it's 40 seconds. I felt the same too many times...but ultimately I jumped as late as I possibly could into the portal and it worked. I didn't have a stopwatch, so I always had to rely on my analogue watch and it was possible I was off by milliseconds each time, though it felt like 40.

Hm. I've been using the in-game timer that you can activate in the options menu, and that's been telling me that I'm passing 40 seconds. Maybe the built-in timer's off a little.

If you go to the achievements page in the game, did the in-game achievement unlock?

Nope, it's still locked in the in-game achievement menu too. Or rather, it was. I tried it again this morning and decided to hold on for a few seconds longer than 40, and that seemed to have done it. I guess the portal animation stopped the timer a little sooner than I thought it would. Thanks to all of you for your help though!

Have the same problem, the ingame timer already said 41 when I died, but didn't get the achievement, not ingame and not in steam.
Or do I need to go through the portal for this to work?

You need to finish the level too, yes.

Did that now, timer clearly said 41 seconds when I went through the portal, still nothing. Seems broken.

TIP:
at the VERY end just jump off and commit secuide

i spent an hour trying it. no luck
killed myself, and i got it first try!

You need to finish the level too, yes.

It would only pop when you finished the level a while ago.

Clearly it is broken. And the achievement should say "Survive AND finish". I've done it both ways many times now, still locked. I guess I have to try that very scientific "commit a suicide" method.

Other achievements worked fine so far. I'm running the linux version, if that matters.

Maybe the dev can respond. I'd be gutted if it were broken, cause well I felt I had done over 40secs too but just kept going at this for over an hour. Finally got it...but still.
