[Linux] Weird controller behavior
First, thanks for the update which brings finally controller support on Linux, now I can play with my xbox360 Controller. But the buttons repeat itself, I mean when I keep pressing the A button the figure keeps jumping and jumping and ...

I had the same behavior on another Unity3D game (Beatbuddy) but there it disappears when I reconfigure the controller settings ingame. So there is no possibility in ESJ to do that. I really hope you will fix this, we need to customize our controllers.

I don't know if this is on your to-do list, but it should! There is nothing more annoying as no controller config options. Not only because this bug.

+1, this behavior isn't just weird it's unplayable, can not pass through 2nd chapter because it depends on double jump. Linux build jumps twice by pressing jump button once.

Also this bug appears with xbox 360 compatible controllers such as Razer Onza.

Thank you for making this thread. I won't buy this under this circumstances.

It's still a good game, I just have to use a keyboard for now.
edit:though I guess it does make sense to wait for a fix or a drop in price... .gnore me, nothing to see here)

I'm playing with an XBox360 controller on a mac; jump doesn't function at all.

I think I have a similar problem: sometimes when I use the left stick of my 360controller, It starts to move itself. Sometimes I can really do nothing and watch how my little playfigure moves to the right by itself. I have to use the stupid arrows on the controller

@eroind2: You'll have to rebind the buttons
@Heisenberg: Looking into adjusting deadzone for joysticks.

Looking into the autofire thing.

Great, hope you will find the issue and I will finally play that game on my controller :)

I can confirm this on my Arch Linux machine (Kernel 3.11.4) where this happens with both my X-Box controller as well as with my Saitek Rumble Pad. However this does not happen on my Linux Mint 12 machine (Kernel 3.2.0).
