Lost save game after game crashing on start

If there is a achievement called 'the most boring players',i'm sure that i gonna to get one.
Sometime the game will crash(not 'crash' ,the music was playing but the scene won' change) when i start the game from steam.I have no way to close it and i can only shut down my computer.When i restarted the game,the save date was gone.So maybe i have played level1 dozens of times.very annoying,it's true,very annoying when you find that you can only play the level 1.Today i close down the steam cloud but i don't know would it work.
