Show us your creations you have built!
Right now I am currently working on Eve models! But show me what you have made! :D

Everytime I build something noteworthy it's too tempting to crash into something

Lolol.

Take screen shots, then crash it and record a video while crashig it. Win win!

I realy enjoy creating vessels and than test-driving (read: ramming it into other things) them but I seldom take screenshots, probably cause the game will only allow me to upload it as 'private'.

Anyway, I got a few things that I actually like so much I took screenshots and uploaded them to 3rd party sites so I could show them to my friends.

Let's start with my 'space hot-rod' which is a small vessel with no special capabilities besides looking awesome while flying it with cockpit view.

currently I'm working on a mobile base-ship that has everything I need in a mobile package. Though I'll probably have to rebuild it once mining and other features are probably impelmented I wanted to test If i could actually build a very large, usable space ship... and yes, it works rather well.

I wanted it to be modular so i started with designing a 'room' i could just stack on itself to get the lenght I needed, here is the 'raw' version of it when I started with the central power-supply room: http://i.imgur.com/GrAo4Cy.jpg

Here it is with two rings completed: http://i.imgur.com/CgLVK6d.jpg

And here is the interor view from the command bridge showing all three rings: http://i.imgur.com/OEbM4ko.jpg

It has everything I need, two refineries, a set of large cargo holds, med-bay, etc, etc... and yes, I'm using the big spot lights for interior lightning, otherwise it's too dark in that thing. :D:

@Feindfeuer, I started another forum post about large ship sizes and if you are wanting to build anything massive (150 blocks+, there are a few things we have found when building. I would reccomend reading it sometime.)

@Kroska, Wow... I just can't... How did you come up with the tractor beam! I never thought of something like that. Would be an awesome method for getting on and off ships. Have the one pulling down on top, and another pushing down on bottom to the station. Could give you a great tractor beam for getting on and off. I might have to steal that..

@ OMG: I stole the multiplanar gravity station from someone else. Figured out there was a antigravity sphere in the middle and thought...i can fill that with a carrier ship and suck people in if they move up into its range. Holy crap is it hard to get that stuff working perfectly.
OMGTheMuffinMan Oct 20, 2013 @ 2:24pm
I am going to try to impliment that on my ship. (Except my ship is 620 blocks long right now...)
Kroska Oct 20, 2013 @ 3:22pm
Good luck buddy, as long as its one side only, its not too bad. If youdo it on all four side you'll get a weird antigravity zone inside the center of the ship. Which would still be cool for ship navigation.
OMGTheMuffinMan Oct 20, 2013 @ 4:12pm
The ship is large enough that i could put it on the sides. Possibly...
